ENCOURAGING IMAGINATION AND CREATIVITY IN LITTLE ARTISTS
Hello! I'm Emma, I am an artist, a mum to three amazing children, a city girl from the UK living on a farm in New Zealand. I love to draw, paint and create and I love watching my children create. Arty Pants was started to encourage imagination and creativity through art classes, art activity ideas and Arty Box. I am passionate about children and their families getting involved in art that celebrates the process of creating, connecting with each other and having fun.
What is Arty Box all about? It’s not always easy to do as much art as we would like with our children. Setting up, getting them engaged and then cleaning up. With Arty Box it’s all there to get stuck in. Everything you need to encourage creativity with your little artists. A lot of care and attention has gone into making Arty Box as fun and creative as possible, with activities to inspire the imagination.
What is process art? Process art is all about the making and the doing. When children are encouraged to explore and create in their own way, they are empowered to make their own decisions. Creating art encourages imagination and critical thinking, where experimentation and mistakes are part of the process and celebrated. What could be better than the look on a child’s face when they figure out how to create their own unique work of art?
